![]() ![]() Those games launched horribly optimized and ran awful on hardware that met the recommended requirements. The same thing happened when Horizon Zero Dawn and Spiderman Remastered dropped. I suddenly just didn't forget how to maintain my computer after the patch dropped on March 8. I had an as advertised experience when the game was released and now it does not after the patch. When you buy things, as advertised, you should expect them to BE as advertised. You don't rent a two bedroom one bathroom house to find out you have to buy toilets, tile, and carpet separately and install them yourself. You don't buy a car with an advertised 30 mpg just to find out that you have to alter and tweak the engine to get the 30 mpg. You shouldn't need to do anything extra outside of the general driver/ Windows updates and tweaks that you would make to optimize any other PC game. When a developer states recommended requirements for a game to run at "High Quality, 1080p, 60 FPS", you should be able to trust that statement before purchasing the game. I've learned how to troubleshoot and tweak just about any game that I've played so that it runs the way it should. I know how to build computers and have built many of them over the years. I've been computer gaming for about 25 years and have not played games on console regularly since the original PSX and XBox. ![]()
